These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hopeful Goulash website, services, offerings, and materials (“Services”). By using this site or participating in any Hopeful Goulash offering, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site and services.

1. Nature of Services

Hopeful Goulash provides resilience-based offerings including:

  • personalized audio practices
  • reflection forms
  • virtual clubs and community gatherings
  • one-on-one resilience coaching
  • workshops and retreats
  • written and audio content

By engaging with Hopeful Goulash, you acknowledge that no specific outcomes are guaranteed and that all practices, reflections, and guidance are intended for personal insight and resilience building only.

These Services are designed for personal growth, reflection, and well-being.

These Services are NOT therapy, counseling, mental health treatment, medical care, or crisis support.

If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or need clinical support, please contact a licensed professional or call local emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to participate in coaching, clubs, workshops, or retreats. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Personal Responsibility

By engaging with Hopeful Goulash, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own emotional and physical well-being.
  • You understand that resilience coaching and related offerings are not substitutes for professional mental health or medical care.
  • You will seek appropriate professional support when needed.

Hopeful Goulash does not guarantee specific outcomes or results.

4. Confidentiality in Groups

For Clubs, Workshops, and Retreats:

  • Participants are expected to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of others.
  • Hopeful Goulash cannot guarantee that other participants will uphold confidentiality.
  • You agree not to record, distribute, or share any content from group sessions without written permission.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — including text, audio recordings, practices, graphics, materials, and branding — is the property of Hopeful Goulash and is protected by copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Provided personalized recordings and materials are for your individual use only.

6. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds

Clubs (The Hope Club™ and The Story Table™)

  • As a subscription product, monthly payment must be made prior to attending any sessions.
  • Cancellation of subscription requires 30 days written notice by email to:  connect@hopefulgoulash.com

Coaching

  • Sessions must be paid in advance.
  • Cancellations require 24 hours advance notice.
  • Missed or late-cancelled sessions are nonrefundable.
  • Full payment policies will be provided prior to beginning the engagement.
  • Hopeful Goulash reserves the right to reschedule aligned with the specific coaching agreement.

Workshops & Retreats

  • Deposits are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated.
  • Full payment policies will be provided at registration.
  • Hopeful Goulash reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events; in such cases, refunds or credits will be offered.

Digital Products (Recordings, Practices)

  • Payment must be made in advance.
  • Due to the personalized nature of these offerings, all sales are final.

7. Scheduling & Availability

Hopeful Goulash reserves the right to modify availability, reschedule sessions, or adjust offerings as needed. You will be notified of any changes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Hopeful Goulash is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
  • You understand that participation in coaching, clubs, workshops, or retreats involves personal reflection and emotional exploration, and you assume full responsibility for your experience.

All Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

Hopeful Goulash may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
